Final: Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi 3-0 St. Lawrence University
The 13th edition of the University Football league ended in one of the major coincidences after Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi wins a third trophy while St Lawrence losing a third final.
Coming into the final, Uganda Martyrs University (UMU) was already two times champions counting on their triumphs in 2017 and 2022.
On other side St Lawrence was counting two finals lost to Uganda Christian University in 2019 and to UMU in 2022.

Unlike the 2022 where SLAU presented a challenge, this time round they faced a hardest side as they were totally dominated.
Winning 3-0 Uganda Martyrs University looked much stronger for St. Lawrence University in the final played at Wankulukuku Stadium on 27th April 2025.
Calvin Peter Emayo opened the scoring through counter attack after meeting Wesley Aguma flick pass which beaten SLAU’s back line, Crispus Sseruwunge added a second with a long range effort for UMU to sit comfortable in the lead at the break.
Returning to second half SLAU continue their rusty display and they got more sunk early in second half when Ronald Obedgiu scored third goal for UMU to seal the third title.

The victory took UMU overtaking MUBS and Kampala University on two trophies as they become the record champions on three titles.
For St Lawrence, the final ended in much heartbreak losing their third final to become a team with most lost finals three.
