After being re-elected as the President of Uganda Aquatic Games, Moses Mwase allocated open water banks as a key factor in reaching aquatic games in every part of Uganda.
Following the climax of the extra general assembly held at Cooper Chimney Lugogo on 26th April 2025, Mwase commented on his return with the executive he served with in the past four years as a task to move aquatic games to every corner of Uganda in fulfilling the new sports criteria.
“Our members have entrusted us with a new four-year term on the belief that we will finish the re-registration of the federation. It is a task that presents some challenges since we are unable to secure standard water pools; therefore, we will use open water areas in different communities to cover our shortages.” Mwase hinted.

Despite the Uganda Aquatic Federation working in every way to secure professional pools, they are collaborating with various institutions Like Makerere and Kyambogo Universities.
At the event, James Kasumba represented the National Council of Sports in Uganda and assured support to the federation in helping them achieve the criteria to spread different sports all over the country.
“As the National Council of Sports, we are looking forward to supporting our members in earning the new certificate by placing facilities in different parts of the country. The government is building sports complexes like the one in Hoima, and we also have state-of-the-art sports facilities coming at the regional level. All those facilities are planned to accommodate all sports, which will make it easier for our members to take their games nationwide.” Kasumba remarked.
In the election, Mwasa was elected as President, Peter Mugisha and Tony Kasujja returned as first and second vice presidents, and Max Kanyerezi and Mary Ann returned as secretary general and assistant, while Florence Nakakawa returned as Treasurer, with all coming back unopposed.
