The Vatican has officially announced that the last funeral Mass for Pope Francis will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m at the St. Peter’s Square.
He will be buried at the Basilica of Saint Mary Major rather than the beneath of St. Peter’s Basilica, as a tradition.
