As Baba Media Group celebrates 15 years of diligent service to the general public, a mega fete christened as 2025 “Ekitudha Konta Nkonte” has been set on 6th July at the Kyabazinga stadium in Bugembe, Jinja city.
The celebrations have already kicked off in Jinja and the other areas.
Music diva Spice Diana and Pallaso graced the official launch held in Bugembe also attended by the Managing Director Hon. Moses Grace Balyeku.
“We are excited to mark a landmark of 15 years in service. This will be crowned by the mega celebrations of the “Ekitudha Konta Nkonte” on 6th July 2025 at Bugembe stadium. We urge all the people to come as we celebrate this mega achievement” Hon. Balyeku stated.
Since inception, Baba Media Group has grown in stature with 87.7 Baba Fm and Baba Television that have over the years lived to perfect the core roles of being informative, educative and providing entertainment to the masses.
The Group has also employed masses directly as presenters, camera crew, producers, editors, reporters and in other roles.
Miss Alice Namatovu, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Baba Television has urged the general public to turn up in big numbers for the Ekitudha Konte Nkonte where a number of artists will be present to perform and entertain.
“Preparations for a successful Ekitudha Konte Nkonte are in a high gear. We shall have over 100 artists both established and those upcoming. This is the festival of the year. I urge the people to book their tickets early because this will be massive” Namatovu revealed.
Artists Spice Diana and Pallaso have vowed to deliver their A-performance during the event.
Security agencies led by the Uganda Police also promised to execute top notch services in a bid to keep law and order.
