Kigezi Home Boyz Football Club, playing in the second division of Uganda’s football pyramid; The FUFA Big League has confirmed the termination of contract for their head coach Stephen Pritchard.
The development was affirmed on Easter Monday via a statement released to the general public.
Kigezi Home Boyz Football announced that the decision has been taken to part ways with head coach Stephen Pritchard, effective immediately. We would like to thank coach Pritchard for his time and service to the club. We appreciate his efforts and commitment during his tenure and wish him all the best in his future coaching journey. Assistant coach Madoi Aggrey will take over as Acting head coach on an interim basis. On Holy Saturday, Kigezi Home Boyz Football Club lost 1-2 away to Kataka at the Mbale City stadium, a key lead to the coach’s sacking.
Pritchard became head coach for Kigezi Home Boyz FC in January 2025, replacing Denis Tushabe who was promoted to the technical director role.
Assistant coach Aggrey Madoi will serve as interim head coach.
Kigezi Home Boyz is caged in the dangerous the relegation docket with 22 points off 21 matches as they are 13th on the 15 team standings.
Three clubs are promoted from the FUFA Big League to the Uganda Premier League with the bottom four demoted to the respective regional leagues.
